Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born March 4th, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress, comedian, and writer. O'Hara has been awarded numerous awards including a Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also won two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was made an Officer of Canada. In 2020 she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara first became known as an actress when she was a member the The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. She was a part of the principal cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd started work in Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara received high praise for her comedy writing and acting skills and was awarded an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for an episode of a Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were included on the Second City artistic board in 2022.
