Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki is the oldest of three daughters was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to psychotherapist[8] Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9 and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a retired real estate developer with a grandfather who emigrated from Greece in 1904 and whose grandmother was of Irish descent. In 1976, her parents were married. Psaki also descends from Polish roots. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. In 2000, she received an honors degree from the College of William & Mary. She is a Chi Omega Sorority member. Psaki spent two years as an athlete in backstroke at William & Mary Tribe. Psaki was initially involved in the 2001 re-election campaigns of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack for Governor of Iowa. Psaki was later appointed deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki served from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative and as regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced that Psaki will be an analyst for the 2022 United States election and the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023, she will host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming channel. Her first television appearance was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in which she spoke about the shooting at Robb Elementary School shooting.
